Today, when I was listening to the Children's message, I had an inspiration for the sermon. I went with it, worked it into to my sermon and it went great, better than great, fantastic.
Now for many of you that will not be something new, however, I am not really spontaneous when it comes to my sermons. Actually, I am very meticulous. I have sat through some absolutely horrible sermons because .jpg)

preachers didn't follow their manuscript or outline. And they got lost and confusing.I can only give praise to the Holy Spirit, because I truly wouldn't have done it without the prompting of the Spirit. Wow, in the last month, I have walked around the sanctuary while preaching and now this.

i just threw in an extra two lines upon first preaching my sermon this weekend and they became part of what really made it powerful for my husband. i threw them in on Sunday morning and... eh.
It's funny what preachers get excited about. Isn't it?
But after preaching that sermon, I was on a high most of the day.
